The tactical team suited up in diving gear and rappelled down through the newly opened iron hatch into the dry subterranean airlock chamber below. Navigating a vast network of concrete tunnels carved into the ocean floor, they followed the sound of heavy machinery toward the drydock chamber where the sunken submarine rested. However, as they approached the submarine’s hull, they triggered an automated defense system that dropped heavy steel blast doors, sealing the tactical team inside a narrow auxiliary corridor.
